Usage Notice

Your Responsibilities

By using the API services provided by Calgine Tokens, you agree to abide by the platform's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Before using the service, please confirm that:

  1. You are fully responsible for the content and behavior of applications built on this platform
  2. You comply with the applicable laws and regulations of your region and your target users' regions
  3. If in doubt, consult a qualified legal advisor

Your Obligations as a Service Provider

Even when calling models through this platform, you remain the service provider to your end users and must fulfill the following obligations yourself:

  • Content compliance: Ensure that content generated or displayed by your application complies with local legal requirements
  • User protection: Protect your users' data and comply with applicable privacy regulations (such as GDPR)
  • Data security: Take reasonable measures to safeguard your systems and user data
  • AI content disclosure: Disclose AI-generated content to users when required by applicable regulations

Prohibited Uses

The platform must not be used for the following purposes (including but not limited to):

  • Generating or distributing harmful, illegal, or infringing content
  • Fraud, phishing, or other malicious activities
  • Mass spam or automated abuse
  • Bypassing platform security mechanisms, malicious stress testing, or reverse engineering
  • Reselling or disguised reselling of API access (without authorization)

Violations may result in account suspension or termination. Serious cases will be reported to the relevant authorities in accordance with the law.

Enforcement

The platform monitors for abnormal usage patterns. Detected abuse may result in rate limiting, balance freezing, or account suspension, depending on severity.

API Key Security

  • Never expose your API Key in client-side code, public repositories, or logs
  • Create separate tokens for different applications for easier management and accountability
  • If you suspect a key has been compromised, revoke it immediately under Workspace → API Tokens and create a new one
  • You can further reduce risk by setting IP allowlists, spending caps, and provider routing policies on your tokens

Service Availability

The platform ensures high availability through multi-provider redundancy—single node failures don't affect your business. For best stability, we recommend implementing reasonable timeout and retry logic in your client (see Error Handling).
