Integrating Cursor

Connect Calgine Tokens to Cursor and use models like GPT, Claude, and DeepSeek for AI-assisted coding.

Cursor is an AI coding IDE built on VS Code, featuring built-in AI chat, code completion, and code generation.

Prerequisites

  1. Sign up at the Calgine Tokens Console.
  2. Go to Workspace → API Tokens, click "Add Token", and copy the API Key after creation (starts with sk-).

API KeyThe API token you created in the console

Configuration Steps

  1. Open Cursor Settings: press Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + J, or go to File → Preferences → Cursor Settings.
  2. Open the Models section: find the Models tab in the left panel and scroll down to the OpenAI API Key section.
  3. Fill in the API details:
    • OpenAI API Key: your Calgine Tokens API Key (sk-your-token)
    • Override OpenAI Base URL: https://api.calgine.com.cn/v1
  4. Verify the connection: click Verify; a success message means the connection works.
  5. Add or select models: enter any model name supported by the platform in the Models list, e.g., gpt-4o, deepseek-r1, claude-opus-4-5-20251101.

Verify the Setup

Open the Cursor Chat panel (Cmd/Ctrl + L), select the model you just added, and send a message. A normal response means the setup is complete.

Notes

Note

Cursor's third-party API mode currently only supports the Chat feature. Cursor Tab (autocomplete) and Agent mode are not supported. Use an official Cursor subscription for the full feature set.

  • To use Claude models, simply enter the full model name, e.g., claude-opus-4-5-20251101
  • For a more stable experience, set your provider routing to Official or Enterprise in the console — see Providers & Routing
  • If a model is unavailable, confirm in the Calgine Tokens console that the model is in your token's allowed list
