LobeChat Integration

An open-source, modern AI chat application supporting chat, image generation, and voice conversations, connecting to Calgine Tokens through a custom OpenAI endpoint.

LobeChat is an open-source, high-performance AI chat framework with multimodal conversations, plugin extensions, an assistant marketplace, and more. You can use the official hosted version or deploy it yourself. By configuring a custom OpenAI endpoint, you gain access to all models on the Calgine Tokens platform.

Prerequisites

1. Sign up at the Calgine Tokens Console.
2. Go to Workspace → API Tokens, click "Add Token", and copy the API Key once created (starts with sk-).

Option 1: In-App Settings

Applies to the official LobeChat version or an already-deployed instance.

1. Open LobeChat and go to Settings → Language Model → OpenAI.
2. Fill in the following:
   • API Key: Paste the API token you created in the console
   • Proxy endpoint (custom endpoint): https://api.calgine.com.cn/v1
3. Select or manually add the models you want to use from the model list, e.g., gpt-4o.

Option 2: Self-Hosted Environment Variables

If you deploy LobeChat yourself via Docker or from source, you can point the OpenAI-compatible endpoint through environment variables:

Environment Variable	Description

Verify the Setup

Return to the chat interface, start a new conversation with the configured model, and send any message (e.g., "Hello"). A normal response means the integration is working.
